Thanks to the marvels of modern technology visiting the dentist is no longer necessary to achieve a beautiful white, bright smile.  Just as you do not go see a Podiatrist for a pedicure or to see a Dermatologist to get a facial, it is not necessary to see the dentist to whiten your teeth.  The Food and Drug Administration or "FDA" classifies the whitening gel we use as "cosmetic".
